As of January 1, 2012, Illinois residents are no longer
allowed to dispose of electronic devices into landfills. To
help with this, Sycamore hosts electronics recycling events
every third Saturday of the month from 9 to 11 AM at the
Sycamore Public Works Building located at 475 North Cross
Street. Other recycling opportunities are available
throughout DeKalb County. Click

On
May 5, downtown Sycamore will host its annual Cinco De
Mayo celebration. Bring the whole family and come join
in the festivities which include food, live, and events for
the kids. Visit

The City Council meets on the first and third Monday of
each month at 7pm in the Sycamore Center, located at 308 W.
State Street in downtown Sycamore. Agendas are available
