The City of Sycamore has denied the special events permit application of the DeKalb Knights of Columbus to host the Carson & Barnes Circus on August 9th-10th.  The deadline to secure the permit and satisfy the necessary requirements was set for 8 a.m. on July 26th.  Safety concerns and lack of neighbor consent were cited as reasons for denying the permit.
