Temporary on-premises commercial signs that are otherwise prohibited may be permitted under UDO 6.8.6(T) for the purpose of promoting commercial activities, sales events, grand openings, etc. must be reviewed, approved and registered with the Community Development Department a minimum of seven (7) days prior to the date of the event.
Limited to no more than thirty (30) days and not more than six (6) times per-calendar year. The display period may be extended with special approval by the Director of Community Development or his/her designee.
Shall not be displayed more than fourteen (14) days prior to the advertising event.
Shall be removed not more than seven (7) days after the conclusion of the advertising event.

I hereby acknowledge a-e below and certify that the information contained in this registration for Commercial Promotion Sign is true, correct, and that I have read, understand and will conform to all City of Sycamore's Codes and Ordinances, specifically Article 6.8.6(T) of the Unified Development Ordinance. I also agree that all work performed shall be in accordance with the approved plans, specifications, and dimensions shown on the sign rendering, except for such changes as may be necessary, authorized or required by the City of Sycamore. No work shall be conducted until approval of the registration is obtained.
